Silverstone Shooting Centre

Silverstone Shooting Centre have confirmed they will be exhibiting at the British Shooting Show for the first time.

Silverstone Shooting Centre

This brand new range, opened in October, is the UK’s only fully electronic target range with high definition cameras to all of its 30 targets over distances from 10 m to 100 m. Silverstone Shooting Centre really is almost Disneyland for shooters!

There are three small bore ranges (suitable for rimfire and pistol calibre firearms) with electronic turning targets at 10m, 25m and 50m each with camera controlled targets at 50m. Each range has 6 shooting lanes with fixed shooting benches suitable for left and right handed shooters with each lane having a HD monitor so shooters can see the fall of shot – no need for spotting scopes or walking down range to check accuracy.

Also located in the 50m range is a 30m long running boar target as well as two mini McQueen target systems.

There are two 100m full bore ranges, both with camera controlled targets and one with turning targets, each lane has HD monitors to watch fall of shot. There are six shooting lanes per range. All full bore rifles must be fitted with supressors but there is no upper limit on muzzle velocity or muzzle energy.

Shooting lanes can be shared with other members (a maximum of two per lane at the firing point at any one time) and members are able to bring a guest subject to an additional fee.

We also have a large clubhouse and restaurant where we offer a full menu of breakfast and lunch items including fresh coffee and home made cakes and sandwiches.

Memberships can be all inclusive with no range fees or with hourly rates per shooting lane.

For non Firearm Licence holders we are able to offer our ‘Direct Access’ training scheme where after taking a comprehensive training scheme you can obtain your firearms licence and shoot at the range within a few days.

We are also able to offer a full corporate day event which can be shooting only or combined with other events such as 4×4 buggy driving, axe throwing, crossbow shooting, contact us for details.

Owner John Thorne will be attending all three days with some interactive media to show off the range and its target systems as well as announcing a new shooting competition that has a prize fund in excess of £10,000!
