Nightfox Night Vision From Laserware

The Nightfox 100V

nightfox night vision

A new type of of digital night vision device that’s easier to use, and at a much lower price. It’s similar to a normal night vision monocular, but with one large widescreen viewing screen for both eyes. You can even use the comfortable eyepiece whilst wearing glasses.

The Nightfox is easy to use as soon as it arrives. Start up is instantaneous, and while you’re observing, three buttons (controlling the power, zoom, and IR illumination) and a focus wheel are right at your fingertips. Set up the 100V for extended periods, such as wildlife observation, using the tripod thread on the base.

Because the Nightfox’s digital sensor is highly sensitive, in ambient light such as at dusk or dawn you dont need to use the built-in infrared illumination to see extremely far. There are 7 levels of IR illumination to use in different conditions. The highest level is so powerful that it provides clear vision up to 100m at night. The 3x magnification (6x with digital zoom) brings out the detail in the widescreen image.

The Nightfox 100V uses digital technology, so unlike traditional analogue night vision devices it doesn’t experience illumination overexposure from high levels of light. It will operate for up to 6 hours on 8x AA batteries (not included), in temperatures from -20°C to +60°C, and the solid construction and tough plastic case protect it from wear-and-tear.

You can rely on Laserware’s standard 18 month warranty, and we’re available by phone or email to provide product support and help with any queries.

Nightfox 80R

Due to its small size and simple button layout, the 80R is a breeze to use, with only one hand. Switch it on, hold it up to your eye, and you’re off – into the night.
We’ve added features like a detachable filter to use the 80R in daylight, a tripod mount, and more. For example, other night vision devices have bright screens that damage your own eye’s natural night vision. It’s easy to adjust the brightness setting on the 80R’s LCD screen, and your chosen brightness level will even be remembered after switching the device off.

On the pocket-sized Nightfox 80R, there are seven levels of IR (1.8W 850 nm) to illuminate even the darkest surroundings: the maximum viewing range is 150 m at night, depending on ambient light levels. 5x magnification and 4x digital zoom will help you pick out your mark on the clear screen.

View your recorded files directly on the device, or quickly and easily transfer your photo and video files by SD card or USB cable to watch at home or share with others.

The Nightfox 80R weighs just 250 g, but its tough casing and long battery life (2 hrs on max IR, 5 hrs with IR off) make it a reliable little unit.
