NEW! – ZEISS Conquest V6 Riflescope. Made in Germany!

The new Conquest family of riflescopes from ZEISS are their “mid-range” range of hunting scopes. There are three models available the ZEISS Conquest V6 1.1-6×24, the ZEISS Conquest V6 2-12×50 and the ZEISS Conquest V6 2.5-15×56.

Zeiss Conquest V6

Launched at IWA 2017, the Conquest V6 family uses the same FL lenses found in the Victory riflescope giving 92% light transmission for extremely high image brightness in low light and during those often all important final minutes during an evening stalk when target clarity and high resolution are essential. Not quite the same light transmission as the HT series, but the same as the V8. The Conquest V6 is the successor to the popular DL range. Quality wise, the Conquest V6 range is everything that you would expect from a ZEISS riflescope and the model that I recently had the opportunity to test and also put through its paces in the field was the ZIESS Conquest V6 2-12×50.

Zeiss Conquest V6

The Conquest V6 2-12×50 riflescope can be described as an all-round hunting scope whether that be stalking or shooting from a highseat. With a real 6x zoom, magnification of 12x and an objective lens diameter of 50 mm, this scope is ideal for medium and long-range targets particularly because the fine crosshairs situated in the second focal plane offer minimal target subtension (area of the target covered), coupled with the large field of view – 20.5 m at 100 m – the Conquest V6 2-12×50 gives the shooter a commanding overview. A 90 mm exit pupil gives no shadowing around the edge of the sight picture and a generous amount eye relief for large calibres.

There are other features on the V6 scopes that come straight from the HT and Victory series. All three V6 scopes feature the optional superfine fibre optic red centre dot illuminated reticle. The intelligent integrated motion sensor is present which activates and deactivates as needed. On all three scopes the lenses are coated with hydrophobic LotuTec as well as the T* coating. The 12×50 and the 15×56 also have premium fluoride glass in the objective lenses for further enhanced image quality and all the optics are housed and encased within a body that’s been precision machined from a single piece of aluminium. Also, if you’re going for one of the two larger scopes there’s the option to have the ASV bullet drop compensator (BDC) turret.

If you discount the fact that the V8 has a larger zoom, the similarities between the V6 and the V8 are very apparent right up until you get to the price tag. ZEISS’s recommended retail price for the Conquest V6 2-15×50 is £1,384.99 with an additional £55 is you want the ASV.

The Conquest family became available in March and this “mid-range” family of rifle scopes are packed with “leading-edge” ZEISS standards, technologies and features.
