New Pulsar Trail and Helion Thermnal Imagers Arrive in UK
The Pulsar Trail Thermal Riflescopes and Pulsar Helion Hand Held thermal imagers have now arrived in the UK and are shipping from Scott Country International.
The Pulsar Trail is a dedicated thermal riflescope, whilst the Helion is a hand held thermal spotter for both day and night use when stalking or foxing.
Using the very latest 17 micron thermal sensors, the XQ series has a 384×288 thermal sensor, and the XP series a high resolution 640×480 thermal core.
Providing detection ranges up to 1800m, with variable magnification, Picture in Picture, wifi streaming to smartphone and advanced heat sink system to stabilize temperature and reduce noise and heat build up to provide a smoother cleaner image for longer.
The new B Pack power supply is a progressive autonomous power pack, shared with all new Pulsar models, providing run times of 8hrs in the field.
Stream a live view to your smartphone, capture footage and upload to the web, the new advanced thermal imagers from Pulsar are now available.
Pulsar Trail QX50 Thermal Riflescope
The Pulsar Trail XQ50 thermal riflescope is the latest in state of the art thermal imagers from Pulsar featuring the very latest 384×288 17 µm thermal core, which provides a detection range up to 1800 m combined with 2.7x to 10.8x magnification with smooth zoom, integrated video recording and wifi, providing market leading thermal imaging for long range foxing and vermin control.
Brand new for 2017, the new Pulsar Trail thermal imagers bring state of the art technology to the hunter, providing unrivaled performance in the field via the latest high specification thermal technology, enabling a detection range of up to 1.8 km, twinned with integrated 640×480 video recording, and wifi sharing to a mobile device.
With smooth 50 hz refresh, variable magnification, integrated stadiametric rangefinder and the latest 17 µm thermal sensor, Trail XQ50 provides a high quality image, allowing the user to accurately identify quarry at distances previously unobtainable by civilian thermal imaging devices.
Super Smooth Variable Magnification
Trail models include variable magnification, up to 8x depending on model, and feature both 2x step-up and smooth, graduated magnification for a truly optimum, customized field of view.
Picture in Picture Mode
Improves accuracy by providing a magnified image of the reticle area at the top of the display. With only 1/10 of the display area reserved for PIP, the field of view remains virtually unobstructed.
A built-in accelerometer/gyroscope improves accuracy by precisely identifying cant and angles greater than 5° with an arrow indicating the direction and degree of lateral tilting. Increased angles are denoted with additional arrows. Moreover, the riflescope can be set to auto shutdown when resting in a non-shooting position. Unit operation may be disabled when the vertical angle is greater than 70° or horizontal angle is greater than 30°. The accelerometer feature may be temporarily disabled for continued use at excessive angles.
Integrated stadiametric rangefinding
Based on estimated heights of observed objects, the stadiametric rangefinding reticle makes determining precise distances fast, easy, reliable and repeatable.
Integrated video recording onboard Trail
Capturing still images and video is seamless with the Trail’s built-in video recorder. Image and video content is stored internally and can easily be transferred to PC/laptop via wired connection or wifi.
Streamvision Wifi Video
The highlight of the Trail is the ability to link via wifi the device with Android and iOS based mobile units using the free mobile application Stream Vision. The Stream Vision software connects the device with Android/iOS mobile unit (smartphone or tablet) which enables you to receive footage in real time mode, to distantly operate the device with your smartphone, as well to stream online the image captured by the device to Youtube.
The Streamvision app also allows the user to update the device firmware with new functions etc
New Multi Function remote control
The ergonomic, wireless remote control, with encoder wheel, puts the full range of the Trail’s capabilities at your fingertips for comfortable, convenient, hands-off operation.
New Quick Change Battery Packs
Trail includes a progressive autonomous B-Pack power supply consisting of a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS5, 5.2A-h battery pack designed to deliver over 8 hrs. of operation on maximum mode. Higher-powered IPS10 battery packs, as well as CR123A and AA battery cases, also are available and provide a perfect off-the-grid power solution.
