Daystate Day 16 August 2018

In preparation of Daystate’s 40th year celebrations later in October yet to be announced, Daystate held an open day for the Tinley Park target shooting club.

Tinsley Park has been particularly supportive to the company over the last few years with members of the club helping with user trials on new and modified rifles, and so Daystate felt that they could offer something back to the club – and at the same time practice for the upcoming celebration.

The Venue was held at the Daystate factory where the day was split into two halves; the first half being a talk by Tony Belas on the history of the company followed by a demonstration of several of the historic rifles owned by Daystate and members of the owner’s club who were also present to support the event. This was followed by demonstration by Simon Cockayne on rifle servicing and repair. After a brief lunch, the second part focused on the latest rifles and the future, club members were given a presentation by the new managing director of Daystate, Giambattista Sabatti followed by a tour of the production facility where club members were shown the assembly process and testing of Daystate rifles such as the Huntsman, Wolverine R and the very latest electronic Red Wolf. The day was videoed for posterity and published this on the web.

Daystate say that they plan to do one more before the main events which is scheduled for the end of October and will then be running club days throughout 2019.
