Looking ahead, Steve Scott and Tim Kneale begin qualification in the Men’s Double Trap at 1pm today, semi-finals and medal matches follow from 7pm today.
Amber Hill and Elena Allen compete in the Women’s Skeet on Friday 10 August. Qualification begins at 1pm, with semi-finals and medal matches following from 7pm.

The Game Fair at Ragley Hall
The Game Fair at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire was a huge success. Over 1,100 people had a go at shooting on the CPSA Clayline, which was one of many highlights on our stand including hospitality, Team England shooters and the chance for guests to see Bob Braithwaite’s 1968 Olympic winning shotgun.
Congratulations to Sussex-based dairy farmer Guy Franklin who won the Champion of Champions and to local lad Brody Woollard from Warwickshire who won the Colts Challenge.
Safety Officers Course
We will be running the last safety officers course in the South-West region for 2016 on Saturday 8 October at Podimore Shooting Ground. For just £99, this full day will give you a thorough understanding through both theory and practical sessions of safety on both a personal and ground level.

2016 British Open English Sporting
There are the last few places available for the British Open English Sporting which takes place at High Lodge in Suffolk from August 31 to September 4.
A limited number of pegs on Wednesday and Thursday are left, book your preferred shooting time now.
The competition follows the same format as last year, with everyone taking on 120 birds during the qualification days in a bid to return for Sunday’s final.

CPSA Premier League 2016
The finale of the CPSA Premier League takes place at Owls Lodge Shooting School on Saturday 10 September.
In the last leg at Bisley Shooting Ground, Bucks shooter Stuart Clarke took the High Gun honours with 96 ex 100. Sporting Targets Shooter Charles Monahan recorded a top score of 104 with his handicap applied.
Charlie Soanes maintains his lead at the top along with his Barrow Heath Team going into the final leg at Owls Lodge,

Compak World Championship
Entries are still being taken for The FITASC World Championship of Compak Sporting at E.J. Churchill Shooting Ground on the 24-27 August.
Practise days are running on the 22 and 23 August at the ground.
